OUR PASTOR
The Reverend Jeff Beason is the fifth child, born to the late Florine Hope and James Alaska Beason, and is affectionately known by the family as, “Florine’s baby boy”. Pastor Beason is a proud native of Miami, where he was reared in the church by a loving “village” of family and church family at the Church of God of Prophecy.
As a youth, he watched his grandfather serve in ministry, the late Elder Shadrach Lewis, who was a faithful servant in the church and who planted multiple churches in Miami for the Church of God of Prophecy (CGP) denomination.
After relocating to Orlando, Florida, Pastor Beason joined St. Mark African Methodist Episcopal Church, under the leadership of Bishop Samuel L. Green. Under this leadership Pastor Beason began working in ministry.
